Poly 1512 is a 1:1 mix, low viscosity, polyurethane liquid casting plastic with exceptional strength and impact resistance. Cured 1512 exhibits similar properties to ABS plastic. 1512 resin is great for casting tough, thin-walled parts, coating Styro-foam, and creating light-weight mother molds.

1512 is available in 3 set times:

  • 1512X - 5 Min. working time and ~1 Hr. demold
  • 1511 - 10 Min. working time and 4-5 Hr. demold
  • 1512 - 20 Min. working time and 16-20 Hr. demold

Poly 1512 can be poured to produce decorative objects, production parts, prototype parts, tools, models, duplicate masters, patterns, and more. The high physical properties of this plastic make it ideal for making models and prototype parts that simulate thermoplastics such as ABS and polypropylene. White in color. Can be accelerated for faster demold using Poly 15 Part X catalyst. Can be color cast using Poly Color dyes.

For professional use only. Use in a well ventilated area.

Poly 1512 can also be mixed with Poly Fiber II thickener to create a thixotropic (paste-like) consistency for making lightweight plastic mother molds or mold shells.
